Conference on Undergraduate Research and Engagement

April 28, 2026

The Conference on Undergraduate Research and Engagement (CURE) is NIU’s annual undergraduate research and engagement showcase and culminating event for Undergraduate Research Month.

Faculty, staff, students and community members are invited to attend to learn about and celebrate the contributions NIU students are making in their fields of study, society and communities.

How to Present Your Work

Students from all colleges and majors are encouraged to share their faculty-mentored research or artistry project or their engagement project. You can present your work in the format that works best for you: poster session, exhibit, round table discussion or recorded performance.

Learn more about options for presenting at CURE and explore resources for developing your presentation. Please email ugresearch@niu.edu if you need clarity about which application to submit.
