The Conference on Undergraduate Research and Engagement (CURE) is NIU's annual undergraduate research symposium and professional development conference. CURE provides NIU students with the opportunity to formally present faculty-mentored undergraduate research, artistry and engagement projects that they have participated in during the academic year. CURE also provides student attendees the opportunity to gain knowledge on relevant topics for emerging undergraduate researchers through professional development sessions.
During the in-person research symposium on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, students from all colleges will showcase projects they are completing or have completed as part of a capstone or senior project, community engagement project or course, independent study or funded research and artistry program through posters and exhibits for a chance to place in their respective award category. Student presentations will also be available online through the symposium by ForagerOne platform throughout the entire week of April 25.
The 2022 hybrid event will include virtual professional development sessions on the ForagerOne platform Wednesday, April 27.
