Conference Overview

The Conference on Undergraduate Research (CURE), formally known as Undergraduate Research and Artistry Day (URAD) and the Community Engagement Showcase (CES), provides NIU students with the opportunity to formally present faculty-mentored undergraduate research, artistry and engagement projects that they have participated in during the academic year. Students from all colleges will showcase projects they are completing or have completed as part of a capstone or senior project, community engagement project or course, independent study or funded research and artistry program through posters and exhibits for a chance to place in their respective award category.

The 2022 hybrid event will be held online and in-person utilizing the proper COVID-19 precautions.
