Student Research

Our research culture is intentionally inclusive at every level. Undergraduates work directly with faculty on original problems. Graduate students coauthor publications, present at international conferences and build the scholarly records that open doors to academic and industry careers.

A signature resource of the school, the Statistical and Mathematical Consulting Services gives graduate students substantive experience applying advanced methods to real problems. Under faculty supervision, students provide high-level statistical analysis to university researchers and industry partners — learning to translate sophisticated methodology into actionable insight. Our alumni have gone on to careers at top universities, national laboratories, financial institutions and technology firms.
