About the Annuitants Association

The NIU Annuitants Association (NIUAA) is a chapter of the State Universities Annuitants Association (SUAA). By joining the NIUAA, you can help the SUAA in its efforts to promote and protect the interests of participants in the State Universities Retirement System (SURS).

The SUAA's influence is linked to the size of its membership. Participating in the NIU chapter is the best way to strengthen the collective voice representing your interests when retirement benefits are discussed in Springfield.
