Each area of the university has a designated contact person who helps update the websites in that area, after receiving training from the web team. For assistance updating a website, get in touch with the appropriate department web contact.

Preparing Content for Updates
Follow our content development guidelines as you prepare content for different kinds of updates:
- Creating new pages: Provide complete, final text in a Word document. Don’t submit partial text or a draft.
- Updating existing pages: Copy and paste the text from the current page into a Word document. Use the Track Changes feature to indicate desired changes.
- Updating documents: Provide an updated, final document formatted using the sample Word document (DOCX).
- Posting newsletters or reports: Please review information about digital document accessibility.

- Submit a ticket through Freshdesk.
- Include your Word document containing tracked changes to an existing page or final text for a new page, if needed.
- A web team member may contact you for more information or with a suggestion to better meet web standards/best practices.
- You’ll receive an email when the update is complete (usually within three business days).

- Make the update in Cascade and submit it for review (or submit a web update request form, if preferred).
- A web team member may edit your update to comply with web standards/best practices and will contact you with any questions.
- You’ll receive an email when the update is complete (usually within three business days).

- Make and publish the update in Cascade.
- Inform the person requesting the update when it’s complete.
