It's Time to Register for Spring Classes!
Registration for Spring 2025 classes is now open. The date you register for classes is determined by the number of credit hours you have earned. Double-check your registration enrollment date. Register early to get the classes you need and stay on track to graduate.

Class registration opens Nov. 4, 2024. Now is the time to start preparing to register for spring 2025 classes.

  • Log in to MyNIU.
  • Consider your finances.

Develop Good Study Habits
Being successful in class requires that you prepare and study. Did you know that you should be studying outside of class for two to three hours a week for every credit hour you take? Learn tips to help you study effectively whether you are by yourself or in a group.

Discover the Huskie Food Pantry
Having access to a steady supply of healthy food helps Huskies succeed in their classes and their lives. The Huskie Food Pantry, located in Chick Evans Field House, provides food and resources to NIU students and offers learning and service opportunities to the entire NIU community.

Get Active. Be Well.
One of the best ways to handle the stress of college life is through fitness. NIU Recreation gives you the tools you need to develop healthy habits and achieve a balanced outlook on life. Use our fitness machines, participate in intramural sports, swim laps, rent a court or outdoor equipment, or take an adventure trip.

These official NIU student announcements contain the latest campus news, information, upcoming events and ways to get involved.
