Being a college student can be stressful under the best of circumstances. Add in a global pandemic, significant social justice matters, inflation, happenings in your personal life, etc., and it’s the perfect storm that could stop any Huskie in their tracks.
But you’re not alone. We offer opportunities and resources to help you find balance and support.
Physical activity (like our fitness classes) is proven to reduce stress. The Recreation Center has something for everyone, from the competitive athlete to the novice exerciser. As a fee-paying student from the DeKalb campus, you’re automatically a Rec Center member for the current semester. Start by scheduling a free 30-minute orientation.
Nutrition Coaching
Eating well is essential to feeling well. If you’re interested in working with a professional to develop a personalized plan, we offer customized nutrition coaching through the Recreation Center.
