How to Apply
You can apply if you have:
- Two years of work experience in local government
- Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.00
- At least one undergraduate course in U.S. government and one in mathematics or statistics
You’ll apply through the Graduate School. Your application materials will include:
- Three letters of recommendation: one from an employer, one from a previous instructor (or an interview with the department chair) and one from anyone who can provide a relevant evaluation of your qualifications
- Statement of purpose: 500-750 words on your interest in public affairs, your career goals and why our program is a good fit for you
- Transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended
