Ed Klonoski

Ed Klonoski earned a B.M. (Theory and Composition) from Marywood University, an M.M. (Music Theory) from Southern Methodist University, and Ph.D. (Music Theory) from Ohio State University. Prior to arriving at NIU, Klonoski taught music theory and aural skills at Capital University and Ohio State. His research interests include music theory and aural skills pedagogy, and Schenkerian theory.

Klonoski was a recipient of NIU's Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching in 2008.
