The law library is available for law student quiet study space and for those needing to conduct legal research.

If you are not feeling well or are sick, do not enter the law library. Please see the virtual services listed below to assist in your library needs.

Study Rooms in the Law Library

Reserve a Study Room online for individual or group study. Three group study rooms are available for College of Law students. Rooms may be reserved for up to two hours at a time. During peak usage there is a four-hour daily limit.

Meditation, Prayer and Lactation Room (North Wing)

The Meditation, Prayer and Lactation Room (259A) is available for individual use for thirty minutes at a time. Reserve the Meditation, Prayer and Lactation Room online.

Patrons Not Affiliated With NIU

Limited reference service is available by emailing lawreference@niu.edu. We will do our best to get back to you by the next business day. During university closure days (listed in the left column) our response time may be longer.
