Learn about voting in another state
Voting in local, state and national elections is one of your important duties—and rights—as a citizen. According to the Pew Research Center, college-aged voters account for almost one-third of the eligible voting population—so your vote matters. Learn more about why you should vote.
Know Where to Vote.
The non-partisan, non-profit Vote.org gives a very clear overview and will answer many of your questions about registration and voting.
You must vote wherever you are registered to vote. If you registered in DeKalb but will be living at home this semester, you may need to change your registration – or vice versa. Check to see where you are registered, and make a change (if necessary)
If voting in person, check with your local election authority to find your specific polling place.
