Spring 2021

Join us to celebrate all things viola at this event for individual players. Ideal for high school and undergraduate students, amateur players and students of all ages are also welcome at this exciting event. You'll meet fellow viola enthusiasts and participate in many activities, including playing in an all-viola recital.

Bring your viola, prepare your part and get ready for an unforgettable experience with the NIU Viola Studio and Anthony Devroye of the Avalon String Quartet.

Cost: $50 per person (includes dinner)
Deadline: TBD

Additional dinner tickets: $15 per guest

Payment is due two weeks before the event. This event fills quickly, so register early.

Registration information will be forthcoming.

If you cancel five or more business days before the event, you may request a refund from Kristin Sherman at or 815-753-1450. No refunds will be made after this time unless NIU cancels the event.

You'll work with the NIU Viola Studio. Viola students at NIU play in the NIU Philharmonic and study chamber music with the Avalon String Quartet, the university's ensemble in residence.
