Trumpet Day

Join NIU School of Music Professors Christopher Scanlon and Pharez Whitted for a day dedicated to high school trumpet players! Throughout the day you will participate in a group warm-up session, masterclass, ensemble rehearsal, learn more about NIU and the School of Music and enjoy a special NIU faculty and student concert. Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. in the School of Music Concert Hall Lobby. Group warm-up begins at 10 a.m. There is a scheduled lunch break at noon. You are welcome to bring your own lunch or visit any of the surrounding restaurants in DeKalb.
Registration
- Cost: $20 per person
- Registration deadline: November 11, 2023
Cancellations
If you cancel five or more business days before the event, you may request a refund from Kristin Sherman at ksherman2@niu.edu or 815-753-1450. No refunds will be made after this time unless NIU cancels the event.
