Open Play at the Esports Arena

Visit the NIU Esports Arena in Altgeld Hall, Room 100. We're open every day school is in session. Drop in from noon to 10 p.m. for open play on gaming PCs and consoles. Don't forget your OneCard - you'll need it to check in.

Location

You’ll find us in Altgeld Hall (also known as the castle building), Room 100, which is directly across from the building's main entrance on College Avenue.

Book Your Event

We will open for special events in the summer and are happy to host your private event any time of year! To learn more about holding your next event at the Esports Arena, contact us at esports@niu.edu.

Policies

We encourage positive gaming play in the Esports Arena and online on our Discord Server. All players must read and abide by our Arena Policies, Code of Conduct and Equipment Check Out Policies.
