The Department of Economics offers flexible degree options to match students’ academic and career goals. The Bachelor of Arts provides a broad foundation in economic theory with a liberal arts emphasis. The Bachelor of Science offers a more quantitative approach, ideal for students interested in data analysis, research or graduate study. Students can also specialize with a financial economics emphasis or pursue an accelerated B.S./M.A. program that leads to a master’s degree in just one additional year.
