Achieving an academically responsive and fiscally responsible budget through collaboration, innovation and transparency is vital to NIU’s continued success. NIU’s multiyear budget planning initiative is a collaborative effort that involves shared governance, departments and employees across the university coming together to support the university’s mission, vision and values. Guiding our efforts will be our University Goals and our Strategic Enrollment Management Plan as well as input from the President’s Budget Roundtable and the ad-hoc Resource, Space and Budget committee.
