Cultural Education Series

The Asian American Resource Center is proud to coordinate our cultural education series throughout the year. The series includes programs to increase the knowledge of Asian American culture, heritage and tradition.

Goals

  • Raise awareness about Asian and Asian American culture, history and tradition
  • Explore topics of intersectionality of identities
  • Encourage artistic expression of Asian and Asian American Identity through arts (music, poetry, digital art, etc.)
  • Raise awareness about Asian and Asian American stereotypes and how to combat them
  • Collaborate with academic departments on topics related to Asian American history
