Academic Integrity Tutorials

The purpose of these tutorials is to promote academic integrity at Northern Illinois University by increasing students' awareness of the issues, offering strategies for students to protect themselves from academic dishonesty situations, and increasing faculty's awareness of the issues and offering them strategies to address academic dishonesty incidents effectively. These tutorials are intended for self-paced learning by students and faculty and can be used as an educational resource to supplement classroom discussions on academic integrity.

Each tutorial may take approximately an hour to review the content and complete the activities depending on the user's background, web navigation skills and type of web access. Please review the About the Online TutorialNavigation Tips, and About - Certificate of Completion sections first and then click on either Start Tutorial button to begin the desired tutorial. No user information is saved on this site.

Do not open the tutorial by clicking a link for it through another software such as Blackboard, Word, etc. First close the browser and other open software, and then open the browser and type in the tutorial URL directly on the browser and go to the tutorial.
