Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies Emphasis


The theatre studies major features a broad-based curriculum designed to help the student achieve excellence in: directing, performance, puppetry and/or playwriting. This program emphasizes both scholarship and artistry demanding the very best from the student in classroom and production. The purpose of the theatre studies emphasis is to train theatre artists to pursue careers in one or more of the following: professional theatre, academic theatre, the training of theatre artists, careers in related fields and/or advanced study in theatre.

When you graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre studies, you will have a solid foundation for your life's work as an artist of the theatre.

The BA degree in theatre studies is an open admission program.
