Student Government Funding

The Student Government Association offers opportunities for recognized student organizations to receive funding based on SGA rules. Organizations and clubs should submit requests for funding to the Student Government Association which will review and discuss funding options for the organization.

Annual Funding

Opening in the spring semester, annual funding is funding that an organization can request for the following academic year. This request will include all the estimated expenses the organization foresees which are sent to the SGA Finance Committee for consideration. The final amount will be approved by the Senate after the Finance Committee completes its review of all annual funding requests.

Supplemental Funding

Supplemental funding is additional funding available for any SGA-recognized organization that supplements their annual budget or who needs it for a specified purpose. Supplemental funding can cover costs in relation to events, conferences, retreats, fundraisers, etc. Supplemental Funding requests are sent to the SGA Finance Committee, comprised of senate members and the SGA Treasurer, for full approval, partial approval or denial.

If interested in applying for funding, fill out the Supplemental Funding Request form available on Huskie Hub.

Executive Funding

Executive funding is funding used for large campus initiatives that serve a significant portion of the student body. Executive funding is restricted to events/items that benefit students who are not a part of the organization requesting the funding. Executive funding requests are sent to the Treasurer for initial approval, then sent to the president for final approval.

If interested in applying for funding, fill out the Executive Funding Request form available on Huskie Hub.
