How to Apply
You can apply if you have:
- An associate of applied science (A.A.S.) or associate of science (A.S.) degree with the prerequisites completed before starting the program
- Appropriate certification as granted by the ASCP Board of Certification or equivalent national organization with a minimum of one year of full-time work experience as a CLT/MLT within the last five years
- A minimum GPA of 2.5 in prerequisite courses and a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
You’ll apply to NIU as a transfer student. After acceptance, you’ll apply to the MLS degree completion program.
