What Can I Do With a Master of Accountancy Degree from NIU?

How to Apply

You can apply if you have:

• A bachelor’s degree in any area except accounting
• An overall undergraduate GPA of at least 2.75 (or a GPA of at least 3.20 in 15 or more hours of graduate coursework)

You’ll apply through the Graduate School. Your application materials will include:

• Unofficial transcripts
• Two letters of recommendation
• A statement of two to three paragraphs about how the program will help you meet your career goals

Additional requirements for international students include:

• If you don’t have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university, you must submit your GMAT score.
• If your first language is not English, you must submit a minimum TOEFL (IBT) score of 80 or an IELTS score of 6.5. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution may be accepted instead of a TOEFL score.
