The Ombuds office serves as a resource to openly share your questions and concerns about your experience at NIU with a neutral party. The Ombudsperson offers a non-judgmental, impartial perspective to assist in navigating university systems, resources and communication skills/opportunities to address your concern. Visitors of the Ombuds office will choose their own path to resolution.
Make an appointment today to receive impartial, confidential guidance and support. Appointments are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. via phone, Teams or face-to-face.
