The Mathematics Education Laboratory, located in DuSable Hall 306, is a great resource for mathematics education undergraduate and graduate students, as well as research faculty. The lab is home to print resources related to teaching and learning mathematics, professional development of teachers, national and international studies in mathematics education, and research on current issues. It contains a range of manipulative materials and textbooks, as well as other resources for exploring mathematics concepts with pre-kindergarten through high school students.
Undergraduate and graduate mathematics education courses are held in the lab during most weekday hours in the fall and spring semesters. Open lab hours are also available every week for students and faculty.
