Undergraduate Special Opportunities in Artistry and Research Program (USOAR)
USOAR is a program that funds student-generated research projects, whether the study is conducted on campus, somewhere else in the United States or overseas. No matter what your major, you are eligible to apply! Students of diverse backgrounds including underrepresented minority students, students from economically disadvantaged and underserved backgrounds and students with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply. Projects are under direct supervision and evaluation of the faculty mentor.
- If your proposal is selected, you will be granted up to $2,500 to carry out your project. You are responsible for covering expenses beyond $2,500.
- You must submit final documentation (final report, receipts and pictures) to our office (Altgeld 100) within six weeks of completion of your project.
- Students must have and maintain at least a 2.75 GPA to receive funding
