Special Graduation Celebrations

Graduating is a major milestone and is a time for celebration. In addition to undergraduate and graduate commencement ceremonies, organizations and departments across campus hold special celebrations on behalf of Northern Illinois University.

Special graduation celebrations honor the many different academic programs, communities, cultures, traditions, involvement and achievements of our graduating students.

Graduating students are invited to participate in the various special graduation celebrations as unique ways to recognize different aspects of their educational journey.
