DeKalb County Nonprofit Partnership (DCNP): DCNP is a program of the DeKalb County Community Foundation and their mission is to strengthen the nonprofit sector through leadership, professional development, and collaboration. We collaborate with DCNP through research (DeKalb County Nonprofit studies are available here), programs, and the internship program. The internship program is a collaboration between the DeKalb County Nonprofit Partnership, the Center for Nonprofit Studies and Career Services at Northern Illinois University, supported by the Douglas C. and Lynn M. Roberts Family Foundation.

Giving DuPage: Their mission is to promote giving and volunteering in DuPage County. We collaborate with Giving DuPage on our webinar series, a regular webinar on topics that affect nonprofit organizations.

Northern Illinois Center for Nonprofit Excellence (NICNE): NICNE, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, a program of Northern Illinois University's Division of Outreach, Engagement and Regional Development, provides training and support to nonprofit organizations in the Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin region.

Not-for-Profit Resources: As an advocate and catalyst in the community of nonprofits, their mission is to provide professional development workshops, networking opportunities, volunteer connectivity, grant-seeking resources and more for nonprofit staff and leaders, board members and volunteers. We collaborate through research (2021 McHenry County Nonprofit Study) and programs.

Thrive Collaborative Center: Thrive is an initiative of the City of Aurora’s Innovation Department and the first co-working space in the Fox Valley region that focuses on the development of local nonprofits and social entrepreneurs. We collaborate with Thrive by supporting the professional development needs of its members and conducting a study of Aurora nonprofits (report due in 2022).
