Research and Artistry Symposium

The Center for the Study of Women, Gender, and Sexuality's annual Research & Artistry Symposium showcases student presentations and creative works that examine women, gender, and sexuality through a critical lens. This day-long symposium is an exciting opportunity to become acquainted with students’ work from across disciplines, to discuss common interests with students and faculty from across campus, and to see the broad range of intellectual disciplines women’s and gender studies encompasses. 

Students from all disciplines and all levels – from first year to graduate level – are invited to submit proposals to present their research projects or creative works. All members of the NIU community are invited to attend. The Symposium is held in Altgeld Hall 315, in April of each year.
