Terms and Conditions
The use of the room(s) is restricted to
NIU students/staff members and their guests. It is
your responsibility to leave the room clean with all furniture in its original location. This includes:
- Kitchen
- Counter and sink must be cleaned and clear of dishes, food items, etc.
- Refrigerator should be clean and empty of personal food.
- Microwave is to be cleaned and wiped down, if necessary.
- Classroom
- Trash must be emptied from the basket and placed in the nearest dumpster.
- Whiteboard is to be wiped clean after use.
- Computer equipment is to be shut down after use.
- Tables and chairs should be placed back in their original locations.
- No food or drinks allowed in this area (with the exception of water).
- Computer Lab
- Tables and chairs should be placed back in their original locations.
- Paper should be recycled in the bin.
- No food or drinks allowed in this area (with the exception of water).
- Patio
- Grill must be cleaned properly after use.
- Clean up food and other trash from the area.
Any damages to the room(s) and or/ its furnishing, including failure to clean facilities, will be assessed to the student/staff bursar account and rights to reserve rooms may be revoked.
No minors (under age 18) allowed without adult supervision. Smoking and alcohol are not allowed.
