Writing consultants can work with you at different stages of the writing process including understanding assignment expectations, developing and organizing ideas, appropriately using sources, revising drafts and strengthening writing strategies.
Faculty can connect students with writing support by referring individual students or sharing information about available services with their classes.
The Huskie Academic Success Center (HASC) can also provide classroom presentations to introduce students to writing support and writing-related resources. When faculty encourage or require students to use writing support, HASC can provide confirmation of student attendance upon request.
