College of Engineering and Engineering Technology Hall of Fame
Purpose and Mission
Established in 2025, the NIU College of Engineering and Engineering Technology (CEET) Hall of Fame recognizes and honors outstanding alumni, faculty and staff who have made significant contributions to their fields, the college and society. The Hall of Fame aims to inspire current students, strengthen alumni relations and celebrate CEET’s enduring legacy.
Nomination Process
We welcome nominations from faculty, staff, alumni and the public. Posthumous nominations are welcomed and self-nominations are also accepted.
A five-member committee led by CEET Dean Dave Grewell and composed of representatives from staff, faculty, students and alumni selected four individuals for our inaugural class:
- Romualdas "Rom" Kasuba (deceased), CEET’s founding dean
- Promod Vohra, M.S. ‘88, Ed. D. ’93 CEET dean from 2003-2016
- Joe Sener, ’93, M.S. ‘10
- Divya Behl, ’05, M.S. ‘08

Our next class of inductees will be announced in spring 2027, with the ceremony planned for Friday, April 30, 2027, immediately after our Senior Design Showcase at the NIU Convocation Center.
Previously submitted nominations are under consideration and we welcome additional nominations through December 31, 2026.
