Student Organizations at NIU


At NIU there are over 300 student organizations that are registered with the Student Association, located in the Campus Life Building, room 180.  These groups are classified as academic interest and professional, community service, diversity and cultural, governing bodies, fraternity and sororities, honorary societies, political, military, programming and performing, recreational and sports, religious, and social, to name a few. All organizations have their own webpage within Huskie Link, NIU's student organization database. We encourage all students to log in to Huskie Link to view all organizations and what they have to offer. Visit and log in with your Z-ID and password to access the system.

Forms for Student Organizations

Student Org Officer Update Form (update president, vice president, treasurer, and secretary positions for your organization)

Officer FERPA Approval Form (officers must complete this form to authorize SA to verify officer meets minimum requirements)

Advisor Agreement (advisor must fill out to agree to serve as advisor for organization)

Accounts Receivable Authorization Form (two officers must fill out to activate an Accounts Receivable Account for your organization)
