2 + 2 Transfer Agreements (Community Colleges)

Our advisors work with Illinois community colleges to ensure easy, and seamless transfer to the College of Engineering & Engineering Technology. Plan your studies early, and use these agreements as your guide. Don't forget to discuss your academic plans with a community college advisor.

It's true that NIU offers many scholarship opportunities, but the College of Engineering & Engineering Technology has over 40 opportunities as well. Make sure to look in both areas so you don't miss a great opportunity!

Application For Themed Learning Communities (TLC)

You have the opportunity to enroll in a TLC by filling out this application. TLC's are a group of two or three courses paired around a common theme, taken the same semester and consist of the same group of students. You can take Calculus and Physics together.
