Honors Spring Break Trips

Honors Spring Break trips are one-week service-learning experiences designed to heighten participants’ awareness of critical social issues, enhance their individual growth and prepare them for social action. Each year, the University Honors Program hosts a trip in which Honors students partner with a nonprofit organization to participate in a meaningful service opportunity, all while creating new and lasting friendships.

Honors Spring Break trips are open to current University Honors students.

Upcoming Trips

Land Between The Lakes is a national recreation area and environmental education area administered by the USDA Forest Service. Located in Western Kentucky and Tennessee, it offers 170,000 scenic acres of wildlife, history, and outdoor recreation opportunities, wrapped by 300 miles of undeveloped shoreline. Each year volunteers contribute tens of thousands of hours of service to Land Between the Lake.
