The Division of Research and Innovation Partnerships provides Research Intelligence resources to support data-informed decision-making, transparency and continuous improvement across NIU's research and creative enterprise.
Our team supports the development and optimization of research support platforms, including InfoEd, to enhance research and ensure alignment with institutional priorities. We also provide dashboards and reporting to assist faculty, administrators and leaders with strategic planning across the research and creative enterprise.
Research Intelligence (RI) is the process of collecting, processing and analyzing information about the university and its operational environment. By providing actionable insights, RI enables sound decision-making in a proactive way to support faculty, staff and student success.
Research Intelligence resources are governed by NIU data stewardship and confidentiality standards. Access to certain dashboards and reports is limited based on data sensitivity, intended use and user role.
