If after registering for classes, you decide to withdraw from a course or leave the university, you must contact the advising office of your major college. Once all the proper withdrawal procedures have been followed (see Semester Withdrawal Procedures), the Office of the Bursar will make any appropriate adjustments to your financial account.
Note: You can look up enrollment deadlines (e.g., last day to drop the class on your own online) associated to your classes in MyNIU. For a step-by-step guide, see MyNIU Last Drop Day Lookup How-to Guide.
