NICADD is dedicated to the research and development of new particle accelerator and detector technologies. These advances will help ensure the vitality and future of particle physics.
NICADD staff, Argonne National Laboratory and Fermilab National Accelerator Laboratory collaborate on a number of research projects including linear collider structures, muon cooling, photo-injector beam studies, and novel scintillator detectors.
Visiting scientists are free to investigate any number of topics related to future accelerators and detectors.
NICADD is located at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois.
