NICADD is dedicated to the research and development of new particle accelerator and detector technologies. These advances will help ensure the vitality and future of particle physics.
NICADD staff, Argonne National Laboratory and Fermilab National Accelerator Laboratory collaborate on a number of research projects involving the dynamics of very intesne particle beams, the development and design of particle beams and diagnostics, participation in world-leading collider experiments, and the development of detector technolgies and detectors for future experiments.
NICADD is located at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois.
