Some tips for taking care of yourself during difficult times include:
Reach out to friends and family to talk about how you’re doing
Do something creative: journaling, painting, writing poetry
Spend time in nature: go for a bike ride or take a walk
Listen to music
Focus on wellness: engage in deep breathing, yoga, or meditation
Give yourself a break: don’t be too hard on yourself if you’re struggling to concentrate or keep up with responsibilities. But DO see this as a sign to seek some support.
In general, remember to be patient, kind, and gentle with yourself and reach out for help if you need it. We’re all part of the Huskie family.
