Victor eRecruiting for Students

Career Services uses Victor eRecruiting as our premier online job search database. Victor is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from any computer.

Students may use Victor to:

  • search for part-time off-campus jobs
  • search for internships/co-ops
  • search for full-time jobs upon graduation
  • submit résumés to employers
  • publish résumés in a résumé book
  • find out which employers have scheduled campus interviews and see the job descriptions associated with these jobs
  • schedule an on-campus interview if an employer has chosen you for an interview...and you can pick your own time slot for the interview
  • find out which employers are holding information sessions before the interview
  • contact employers who have posted jobs and who do not interview on campus

Log-in Information

To login to Victor eRecruiting:

Students after Fall 2008 are emailed login information at the start of the semester. Your password is NOT your birthdate.

Students prior to Fall 2008 login in with:
USERNAME = Z# (example: z021234)
PASSWORD = birth month and date (example for July 4: 0704)

If you are a new student to NIU, you may not have been uploaded into the database yet. New uploads are done during the first two weeks of each semester. You can send an e-mail to careerservices@niu.edu requesting that you be added to the database earlier.
