How to Apply
You can apply if you’re currently enrolled in a degree program at NIU. You must also have experience working in a mid- or upper-level management position in the public or nonprofit sector.
You’ll apply through the Graduate School. You’ll also need to send the following to the Department of Public Administration at publicadm@niu.edu:
- Unofficial undergraduate and graduate transcripts
- Goal statement describing your work experience and how the certificate can enhance your career objectives
- Current resume
- Professional letter of recommendation from a current or recent supervisor
