Admission Requirements for NIU's Online Public Management Certificate

You must have experience working in a mid- or upper-level management position in the public or nonprofit sector. You’ll apply through the Graduate Schoolas a certificate seeking student. You will be asked to submit:

  • Unofficial undergraduate and graduate transcripts
  • Goal statement describing your work experience and how the certificate can enhance your career objectives
  • Professional letter of recommendation from a current or recent supervisor
