NIU continues to monitor closely the dynamic developments for Coronavirus (COVID-19) with a focus on the health and well-being of our university community.
We are currently closed for in-person visits. However, we are still working and available to handle student legal matters. Virtual appointments can be scheduled by emailing studentslegal@niu.edu, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
If you have a pending court case currently handled by our office you will receive an email updating the status of that case with future court date information.
Students' Legal Assistance offers free legal services to current NIU students. We can help with many legal and non-legal issues you might experience during your time here. Tour our site and learn how our services and resources can fit your needs.
