Professor

Research interests of Professor Krishtal include applied and abstract harmonic analysis and the spectral theory of linear operators and Banach modules. He is especially interested in applying powerful abstract ideas in solving concrete problems in applied analysis. Professor Krishtal has authored and co-authored numerous journal articles and book chapters. He has also presented his research at many regional, national and international conferences as well as took part in the organization of several such meetings. Professor Krishtal has taught a variety of courses at Northern Illinois University both at the graduate and the undergraduate level. They include graduate and undergraduate analysis sequences, ordinary differential equations and calculus. Professor Krishtal has held visiting positions at Vanderbilt University and at Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt.
