
Kelsey joined NIU's Division of Information Technology (DoIT) and the Division of Administration & Finance in June 2024 as the Director of Strategic & Innovative Practices. In this role, she collaborates closely with leadership across both divisions, driving impactful financial management, strategic planning, and the execution of university-wide programs and initiatives.
Prior to her current position, Kelsey held various roles within NIU's College of Business, culminating in her tenure as the Assistant Dean of Partnerships & Operations. In this capacity, she led comprehensive oversight of budget development financial management, technology integration, talent acquisitions, and resource planning. Kelsey's early career as an internal auditor at Prudential-Bache Securities in New York City and subsequently as a financial analyst at Northern Trust Bank's Securities Lending division in Chicago laid the foundation for her strong interest in resources optimization and process enhancement.
Kelsey earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance from Univeresity of Illinois Champagin-Urbana, and holds dual graduate degrees: A Master of Business Administration and a Master of Information Systems from Northern Illinois University.
