Zhishuai Guo conducts research focusing on developing efficient and robust machine learning algorithms. His research emphasizes privacy-preserving approaches, particularly in high-stakes domains such as healthcare and finance, while also advancing methods in computer vision and natural language processing. He has published in leading venues including ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, and JMLR, contributing to both theoretical and applied advancements in AI. His work aims to engineer AI systems that balance strong performance with the security, privacy and reliability required for real-world deployment. He is co-founder of the NIU AI research community.
