URA Proposal Information
Before filling out your proposal, please review the following tips. These are some of the criteria which the URA Selection Committee will use when reviewing proposals.
- Be specific
- Do not use acronyms
- Provide generals terms of the project
- List special things your student will be doing as part of their URA
- Contextualize the project (What is the relevance and signifance of this project?)
- Describe how your student will learn a skill they wouldn't learn otherwise
- Do not be too technical in your description of the project
- Explain how you will monitor your student's progress
