Undergraduate Travel Fund

The Provost's Office is committed to providing students with high-impact engaged learning opportunities to enhance their educational experiences.  A primary focus that has evolved from the NIU Great Journeys Strategic Plan is the focus on increasing the opportunities for undergraduate students to participate in research and artistry.  Therefore, we have created an Undergraduate Research/Artistry Travel Fund to provide up to $300 in support to undergraduates when presenting their research or artistry at national/regional/local peer-reviewed conferences.  Student must also receive matching support from their faculty mentor, department, and/or college equal to the amount requested from the Provost's office.
