Jill ZambitoJill Zambito

Before joining Northern in July 2007, Jill worked with student activities and orientation at North Central College where she oversaw commuter student services. Working with commuters and non-traditional students at Northern seemed like a perfect new opportunity. She is currently pursuing an Ed. D. in the Counseling, Adult and Higher Education program at Northern.

 

Kelli Bradley

Kelli Bradley joins the department from Freeport, Illinois. She graduated from Freeport High School in 2004, from Highland Community College (Freeport, IL) with an Associate of Arts degree in 2006, and from Loras College (Dubuque, IA) with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology in May 2008. She is in her first year of NIU's School Counseling Master's program. For the past year, she has been a substitute teacher in the Freeport School District and a waitress at Cannova's Italian Restaurant. She is very excited to be attending NIU and working with our students.

 

Dennis Hill

Dennis is a Chicago native and a Vietnam-era veteran. His undergraduate degree is in Sociology from the University of Utah. He is pursuing his Master's Degree in Education with an emphasis in counseling. He is also combining his Master's Degree to include studies in Sociology. He comes to Off-Campus & Non-Traditional Student Services with a rich background in education. He worked for the College of DuPage teaching continuing education classes. Additionally, he has owned and operated his own private vocational school in Villa Park, IL. He has come to the Northern to obtain his Master's degree so that he can return to the college environment and teach Sociology.

Audrey, a sophomore, has a strong interest in Political Science and Law. She has yet to declare a major, mainly because her interests are so diverse she can hardly pick just one. She currently resides with her family and three dogs in Sycamore. Some of her hobbies include reading and antiquing.

 

 

 

Justine CramseyJustine Cramsey

Justine is from Huntley, Illinois and is a senior Sociology major with a minor in Black Studies. Professionally, she would like to go into Student Affairs and work in Diversity Issues. She is a House Leader in the Exploring Majors House in Grant South. As a House Leader, she lives in the residence hall and helps undecided first year students select a major and get acclimated to the University. She is also the Executive Manager in the Black Student Union on campus.

 

 

Mike NordstromMike Nordstrom

Mike Nordstrom is from Morris, Illinois, and is a health science major. He is a senior at NIU this year. Mike says that he loves attending college at NIU. At NIU, he has participated in RHA (Residence Hall Association) where he was the programming vice president of Grant South. He was also in Lambda Sigma sophomore honor society, was a 2008 summer orientation leader, and is a member of the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Club. Mike's favorite movie is 300, and he is addicted to reality T.V. He is also a big Bears fan.

 

 

Antoinette WilliamsAntoinette Williams

Antoinette Williams is a junior at NIU majoring in Family Social Services. She transferred here in 2007 after attending a Historically Black College in Ohio. She enjoys the diversity of NIU and the support it provides to non-traditional students like her. Having the opportunity to work with other students in a similar situation as her own is a great opportunity that she looks forward to. Antoinette has a 1 year-old son and she is engaged to be married in October of next year. She enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Antoinette also looks forward to graduating and getting into the workforce!
