About Us
Off-Campus & Non-Traditional Student Services at Northern Illinois University was established in 2005 in order to support and enhance the educational, interpersonal, and social experiences of off-campus and non-traditional students.
The staff of Off-Campus & Non-Traditional Student Services is here to assist you in attending to the various needs and concerns of off-campus and non-traditional students at NIU. Our staff is here to help you get connected with the services you are seeking or to assist you in navigating a particular issue.
Our office space also has a lounge for students to come and relax between classes, have lunch, study, or chat with other off-campus and non-traditional students. There is a computer lab adjacent to our office where you can access all of your computing needs. Our primary aim is to create a comfortable place for students by providing trusted and convenient services as well as a place to come and relax or get connected other NIU community members.
