- Off-Campus & Non-Traditional Student Services
Off-Campus & Non-Traditional Student Services at Northern Illinois University was established in 2005 in order to support and enhance the educational, interpersonal, and social experiences of off-campus and non-traditional students.
The staff of Off-Campus & Non-Traditional Student Services is here to assist you in attending to the various needs and concerns of off-campus and non-traditional students during their NIU studies. Our staff is here to help you get connected with the services you are seeking or to assist you in navigating a particular issue.
Our office space also has a lounge for students to come and relax between classes, have lunch, study, or chat with other off-campus and non-traditional students. There is a computer lab adjacent to our office where you can access all of your computing needs. Our primary aim is to create a comfortable place for students by providing trusted and convenient services as well as a place to come and relax or get connected other NIU community members.
We are located in the Holmes Student Center, rooms 023J and 023K (lower level near the Orientation office). You can also call us at 815-753-9999,
