University Outreach Advisory Committee

Membership

  1. The University Outreach Advisory Committee consists of the following members:

    Chief Engagement Officer and Senior Associate Vice President as chair; one faculty member for the College of Law; one faculty member from each of the degree-granting colleges; a representative of the Executive Vice President and Provost; a representative of the University Libraries; a representative from the Graduate School.

    The representative of the Executive Vice President and Provost, and the representative of the Graduate School shall serve three-year terms. The faculty representing the colleges shall be appointed by the Vice President for Outreach, Engagement and Regional Development upon recommendation of the respective College Council or the faculty of the College of Law for three-year staggered terms.
  2. The duties of the committee include to: serve as an advisory body to the Chief Engagement Officer and Senior Associate Vice President, the Council of Deans, and the Executive Vice President and Provost, on policy matters regarding the university's outreach mission and activities; provide academic liaison between the Division of Outreach, Engagement and Regional Development and the instructional colleges, and facilitate appropriate interdisciplinary educational outreach activities; and, assist the division in evaluating its ongoing activities and planning new initiatives.

The UOAC meets on the fourth Monday of Sept, Nov, Jan, Feb, and March, 1-2 p.m.
