Records Unit
The NIU Department of Police and Public Safety Records Unit provides the following services:
- Arrest/citation documents
- Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests
- Sex offender registration
- Electronic device registration
Paperwork associated with court processes is routed to the DeKalb Municipal Court and DeKalb County Circuit Clerks’ Office.
The Records Unit is located at 395 Wirtz Drive, DeKalb, Illinois 60115 and is open Monday through Friday from 8 am until 4 pm, except on university holidays.Contact Us
