About the Program
Our online program provides a convenient way for you to get your master’s degree in art and design education. You’ll be welcomed into a supportive community of students and alumni, and you’ll benefit from an up-to-date, research-based curriculum delivered by our internationally renowned faculty members.
Perfect for K-12 teachers seeking credentials, museum educators and community art leaders, our program will help you develop lesson plans, integrate technology into your classroom, and advocate for art education in your school district and community. Graduates of the program have received Teacher of the Year recognition from the Illinois Art Education Association.
Program Mode of Delivery
The program is 100% online, but you have the option to take classes face-to-face including during a capstone summer intensive.
